Find your place

Don’t just visit the Costa Brava. Find your place here.

Maybe it’s a stone house in a quiet village. An apartment a short walk from the sea. Or a place with room for family, friends and long lunches under the olive trees. Buying on the Costa Brava is about more than finding a beautiful property — it’s about finding the right setting for the life you want. Wherever you are searching from, start with a local perspective, a clear sense of your priorities and time to discover the coast beyond the listings.

Your search, on your terms.

A year-round move, a second home or somewhere to spend a little more time in the sun. Your budget, preferred location and way of life are the starting point. The right place for you might be somewhere you haven’t considered yet.

Come for the property, stay for the lifestyle

Your favourite café for early morning coffees, a drink in the village square with neighbours, or an evening swim in the sea. Think beyond the walls you dream of, and start to imagine everyday life here — in summer, winter and everything in between.

Your local connection

A local perspective.
A place to start.

Hi, I’m Amanda. After years spent exploring every stretch of the Wild Coast, what started as a personal passion project — sharing beach finds, hidden trails, and favorite restaurants — became a way to connect people with this place I love.

When you’re considering a property from another country, it helps to start with someone who knows the coast beyond the listings. The rhythm of the villages. The places that feel different out of season. The small details that help you imagine whether life here is right for you. Tell me what you’re looking for, and let’s start a conversation.

Before you make your move

A few things
you might be wondering.

Can I buy property in Spain as a non-resident?

Yes. You can generally purchase property in Spain without being a resident. You will need a Spanish tax identification number (NIE). Buying a home does not automatically give you the right to live in Spain; residency and visa rules are a separate consideration.

Where should I start my property search?

Start with how you want to live, not just a map. Begur and the Palafrugell coast offer coves and coastal villages; Pals and the inland Empordà bring stone houses and countryside. We will work together to find the best location to suit your lifestyle, property and budget.

What costs should I budget for beyond the purchase price?

Allow approximately 11% of the purchase price for purchase taxes, notary and registry fees, plus independent legal advice and any mortgage or currency exchange costs. Taxes vary with the property and your circumstances, so ask an independent professional for an up-to-date estimate before committing.

Can I organise a search from another country?

You can begin with your priorities, budget and preferred areas before travelling. Once you have a focused shortlist, a viewing visit helps you compare properties and neighbourhoods in person.

Does buying a property allow me to rent it to holidaymakers?

Not automatically. Holiday rental permissions depend on the municipality, the property and current regulations. If rental income is part of your plans, have an independent lawyer check the relevant licence and restrictions before you buy.
